The SAFEorFAKE? Toolkit is a project led by AIJU with the support of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The aim of the project is to develop innovative educational resources in order to educate and raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property and the risks that counterfeit products pose to health, the economy and the environment.
These open and free resources are aimed to: – children aged 8-12, – primary school teachers and teacher training students, and – other out-of-school educators.
The educational materials include a series of minigames, animated videos, infographics, didactic guides and worksheets that are both playful and didact and will help to acquire the key competencies established by the European education guidelines and the Spanish legislation (LOMCE and LOMLOE).
Through products of interest to the child, like toys, children will learn about what the intellectual property is and the risks of counterfeit toys for their health, families and the environment.
