Europe / United Kingdom
Your test reports may be valid if:
- They have been issued by an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory
- They include testing in accordance with EN 71 standards (and EN 62115 for electrical toys)
- The standards are still valid and the documentation is consistent with the product
There is no fixed expiration date, as long as these conditions are met.
United States
Requirements are stricter. You will typically need:
- A Children’s Product Certificate (CPC)
- Test reports compliant with standards such as ASTM F963 and CPSIA
- Reports issued within the last 12 months by a CPSC-accepted laboratory
In this market, keeping test reports up to date is essential.
Important: AIJU reminds you that your product must comply with all applicable legislation in the target market. For example, in the EU, this includes regulations such as the Toy Safety Regulation, REACH Regulation, and the General Product Safety Regulation, among others.
Yes, test reports from other laboratories may be valid, provided that the laboratory is accredited and the documentation meets Amazon’s requirements.
Reports may be rejected if they are incomplete, contain inaccurate information, or do not correctly describe the product and its variants.
Important: the validation process may be faster for reports issued by AIJU, as there is already technical traceability for the file.
This typically means that further testing is needed, the documentation is incomplete, or the product does not meet specific requirements.
AIJU will guide you on what needs to be corrected before resubmitting the validation.
Yes. Once the documentation has been corrected or the required testing has been completed, the file can be resubmitted.
Amazon may take action on the affected listing, including removing the product if the required information is not provided.
