“The aim of the FLEXeTOY project is to perform an investigation on printed electronics on flexible plastic substrates, specifically electroluminescent devices, connections and circuits required for their operation in order to integrate them effectively in the toy sector. This would enable flexible integration of electronic and interactive functionality in objects and products and in a totally different way to that currently employed. As a result, one or several prototype toys will be obtained to demonstrate the technology, which can be used by the SMEs involved to establish a base for their future operations, innovating in applications for the toy and printed electronics sector, offering added value to the market that will enable the Spanish toy sector to significantly increase into international competitiveness.”
