MOTIUS (MObles educaTIUS) proposes research for the development of a prototype child’s room to help parents in educating emotional intelligence of their children at home. The furniture prototype will respond to current educational needs in the home, proposing an intelligent item of furniture that interacts with children to manage their emotions (to calm them when they have a tantrum, reinforce correct behaviour, channel anger, learn to control fears, etc.).  Research associated with the project is orientated at defining solutions for emotional psychology, adapting them to children’s educational setting and proposing practical and accessible solutions from the point of view of productivity and the market for children’s furniture entertainment manufacturers.
