This study was based on exhaustive studies on identifying the main keys for understanding and defining the current generation of children. Children of the main countries to which Spain exports products were studied, defining their differences and similarities compared to the national market. The currently most frequently used segmentation by companies, segmentation by gender and age, was analysed and progress was made toward segmentation by ‘social profiles’.”
