“The main aim of the project is to design, manufacture and launch on the market an innovative and environmentally friendly shotgun cartridge  with water-soluble and biodegradable components (the wadding). In general, the wadding travels some 50 to 80 metres during a shot, which makes it difficult to recover, despite environmental awareness among hunters. This wadding, made with polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) is soluble in water, biodegradable and eco-compatible, which minimises the environmental impact of hunting.”
