Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) are present as impurities in some raw materials used in production of children’s products such as toys or childcare articles. These unwanted substances are mainly present in rubber and flexible plastics, with a higher incidence in coloured plastics in black and grey shades and in recycled plastics.
