The main aim of the ACTIVA project is to create games of high therapeutic value based on ICTs and physical exercise to improve the quality of life in people with Parkinson’s.

ACTIVA allows people with Parkinson have to enjoy the latest offers in leisure and entertainment, thereby improving physical and social skills.

The ACTIVA project has managed to develop an efficient system, opening up further scope for intervention using Information and Communication Technologies:

 

  • Promotes e-inclusion (Bringing new technologies nearer to people) of People with Parkinson’s using an innovative method: Games
  • Promoting physical exercise: through leisure activities that allow movement of upper limbs.
  • Promoting social aid: The playing environment enhances the use of social networks, communication and helps bridge the generation gap.
  • The platform is user friendly and has motivating contents.
