“Baby products used in feeding must be subject to strict safety standards. In addition to this, complementary legislation regarding compliance of materials in contact with foods (Regulation No. 1935/2004) must especially be observed. Because of the innovation in design and materials for these types of products, the nature of the substances that could migrate from the material can be difficult to identify. Thus, the overall aim of the project is to identify and, if applicable to specifically quantify, the substances than can migrate from materials that are parts of products to be used in baby feeding. The following specific objectives are proposed:
