The aim of this project is to develop energy efficient plastic product processes, to manufacture high quality, eco-sustainable and low cost products. Therefore, the action promotes process improvement in the rotational moulding manufacturing process through two innovative methods: electroformed moulds that are more energy efficient and new biopolymers for rotational moulding. The project will start in November 2012 and will take two years. The work of this investigation project will be jointly performed with the Spanish companies, Falca Toys S.L. and Ebrim Rotomoulding, and the French company, Corima Technologies. It will also receive collaboration from the manufacturing process research group of the ULPGC.”
