“Preparation and application of safety standards in sectors related to children’s products are a necessary activity, given the sensitivity of the end consumer in this regard. This activity and its consequences are of great importance to companies in these sectors, given that these are mostly mandatory for the articles to be marketed. AIJU takes part in various national (AENOR) and international (CEN) standardisation committees with the dual aim of monitoring the various work proposals and validating the testing methods proposed in our laboratory. This project aims to support ongoing participation of AIJU in standardisations committees for toys, childcare articles and outdoor play areas and its attendance at various technical discussion forums on the standards, unification of interpretation criteria, etc. “
