“The presence of electronics in many toys and childcare articles adds an additional legislative requirement and one that is relatively new: RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances). This legislation prohibits certain amounts of Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr (VI) and certain flame retardants in all materials of electric and electronic equipment. The aim of the project is to implement the analysis methodology necessary to ensure compliance with this legislation.”
