“The overall aim of the project is the creation of a tool that enables the manufacturer to know the risks points in the materials that form part of children’s products from the point of view of their composition. This would minimise the number of chemical tests to be performed, consequently reduce the cost, leaving analysis only for those confusing cases or those requiring verification. To achieve this overall objective, a series of activities will be undertaken focussed on the creation of a management tool that will be used for decision taking with respect to chemical analysis in products for children’s use and in child care. This would enable analysis of legislative requirements from an innovative and agile point of view for any case in such a way that it would shorten response times with respect to legislative advice for manufacturers of the Region of Valencia.”
