The aim of this AIJU line of research is to continue to develop different actions that make it possible to evaluate different fractions of industrial waste that are generated during the production processes of companies in the sector and in the industrial fabric of the area and which are currently being dumped in safety landfills. One of the possible applications is related to using these waste fractions as part of the materials used to treat pollutants in the wastewater generated by the companies in the sector, whether related or not. This is a consolidated line that is already offering services to technical and legal advice companies on how to properly manage waste (hazardous and non-hazardous) and on how to optimise their waste water treatment systems, in order to comply with the discharge parameters established in the corresponding legislation (municipal by-laws, the water law, etc.) and to thereby obtain competitive and sustainable production processes.

Project results:

– Evaluate the industrial waste that is generated, increasing the efficiency of the production processes.
